Chick-Fil-A West Edmonton Mall, the first to open in Alberta, is currently looking for a Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, your main responsibilities will involve overseeing and coordinating the delivery of exceptional food and ensuring the seamless operation of our restaurant.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by leading and motivating the team to exceed guest expectations
  • Train and develop team members in accordance with company guidelines to ensure high-quality service and product knowledge
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Perform regular inventory checks and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Uphold the restaurant vision, mission, culture and core values
  • Uphold every aspect of our Winning hearts everyday strategy
  • Uphold all Pathway training standards within the restaurant
  • Uphold our models - first & second mile and recovery models
  • Possess strong personal characteristics primarily; humility, and a willingness to collaborate and learn
  • Perform additional work duties as assigned by leadership to support business needs

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the food service industry
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Monday-Saturday
  • Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
  • Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for prolonged periods of time
